Our Jr. Kindergarten preschool program offer a fun and secure environment with a variety of different learning activities and themes. It teaches the same skills as our preschool program, but offers significantly more time to explore, practice and expand on ideas and skills. This 4 day program also mimics the schedule of most of the nearby kindergartens. Our Jr. Kindergarten class is integrated with our Extended Kindergarten program and allows preschool aged students the chance to work alongside students who are currently attending kindergarten. These students are often excellent role models and often influence the younger students to listen, work harder and learn skills quicker and more efficiently. Included in our curriculum is play, music, movement, centres and activity based learning, with an emphasis on socialization, community, manners and respect for others. Each lesson will also introduce and develop pre-reading, pre-math and pre-science skills.
We ask that all students be Toilet trained. We understand that accidents may happen every now and then, but if it is continual, parents will be called to change their child before the child can continue with any activities. NO Pull ups please.
